In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

 In what ways have your productions used or developed conventions from real media products?
In our production we features the main protagonist wearing formal clothes and the antagonist wearing a hooded coat. This uses conventions from real media products because the main protagonist in action thriller films are normally professional where as the antagonist of a action thriller is normally dressed more casually.

 In what ways have your products challenged or played with conventions?
Is your work generic or experimental, or both?
Have you developed a style?
Have you been influenced by the work of specific directors etc?

  At the start of the trailer there are close ups of letters and long shots of scenes of war. The shots quickly fade into one another while there is also dialogue of people reading the letters. This is effective because it makes the audience sympathise for the soldiers. In the next scene there is a conversation between two members of the army and they talk about three brothers who have died in the war. When they talk about the fourth brother the colonel says that they are going to send somebody to find him. During this piece of dialogue there is a close up of the character Pvt.
